Heaven – Zaphikel’s spy is sent to kill Metatron but he is chased off by Metatron’s plushies into Jibril’s garden. Sevy is there and shoots a needle to “the pressure point of your central nerves” so if he speaks he’ll explode. Sevy forces him to look upon his mask because he’s an intruder and he noticed a small needle sticking out of Jibril’s neck. Sevy is just about to kill him but Jibril psychically helps him escape. Sevy wants to destroy humanity and rebuild it from scratch but Jibril keeps “getting in his way.” Sevy sends Metatron to bed because he’s not supposed to use his plushie powers. He has a vision/trance sending him to Jibril. He removes the needle…and Sara’s soul goes into her body. Raziel feels Sara leave and he and Zaphikel watch the soul dissipate. Zaphikel thinks, “It’s him! This is the scenario he’s written! It’s not that Setsuna didn’t have a guardian angel. It just wasn’t an ‘angel’ this time. No matter where the girl’s [Sara’s] spiritual body was, he wasn’t worried. Since in ‘his’ hands was the true container.” Jibril is awake but has gone blind, as Sevy discovers when she wanders into his room as his face is uncovered, startling him. Sevy, in a panic, calls for Raphy. While Raphy is wandering around, pondering Jibril’s situation, he passes a window and Sara falls right on top of him, having run away from her own room again.
Anagura/Hell – The demon inside Noyz was put there by Belial. She again tries to rally the Evils against Setsuna when he returns with the dying Boyz. Boyz lectures the Evils and Setsuna stabs the demon possessing Noyz. They are now on Setsuna’s side to try to save Boyz. Noyz can give him her blood but there is very little blood to transfuse. The Shinryu Dragon Sisters have accepted Setsuna to be in Hell since he saved Boyz. Boyz is getting a new bionic arm. Meanwhile, Belial is thinking he can cause whatever mischief he wants as long as Kurai is still on the fence on marrying Lord Lucifer. He gives Kurai Pandora’s Box which contains the anti-death serum “created by the Necromancers from the blood of The Immortal Dragons, Mandrake, Express, etc. [sic.]” As soon as the serum is used the portal to Sheol opens and Kurai is sent to Lucifer. Belial is in love with Lucifer.
Arachne finally reappears and tries to convince Kira to speak to Setsuna honestly: “If you want to tell her then why don’t you?” (No revelation as to what he should tell Setsuna.) Kira and Setsuna have a silent moment alone before Setsuna has to go see Boyz post op. Setsuna plans to go to Heaven, alone, the next morning. The Noyz-demon is undead and tries to attack again, but Kira stops it, getting injured, but this time his wounds won’t stop bleeding. Kurai takes the demon’s skeleton and skull, putting the skull in a birdcage. Boyz decides he’s going to get revenge on Mika for taking his arm.
Belial continues to try to get Kurai to use the serum. He shows her a picture of what she will look like as an adult – totally a babe. He says Lucifer would want her as Queen, and she could have everything in all the worlds, but as the Mad Hatter he also says Setsuna would undoubtedly choose her (in this form) over Sara. The enchantment only lasts the night, so Kurai goes to Setsuna in his sleep; he half-wakes and starts mumbling “Sara.” He grabs Kurai by the wrist…and this volume ends.
