Lady Alexiel’s soul has arisen from River Lethe to greet Kira. They have sex and Alexiel explains since Kira/Nanatsusaya is actually Lucifer she has to kill him to break the Curse on herself and Rosiel – she must do whatever it takes to destroy God. Nothing must stand in the way of the Savior – and Lucifer certainly would be in his way. Of course Nanatsusaya still is in love with Alexiel. Kira makes a magic circle to send Noyz and Kurai back to Anagura. Holding Alexiel, he notes Setsuna’s soul has left Sheol and Alexiel is once again “a beautiful corpse.” A butterfly floats into his line of vision as he feels Alexiel die again.
Heaven – Metatron is dreaming that Sandalphon comes across the protected area of Assiah...
Assiah – Raphy can’t complete the spell; his Wind is too weak. Sara pulls the Water from the trees around them to help. Setsuna’s heart beats – and Sandalphon tears a hole in the Assiah dimension. Raphy grabs Sara and Mika leaves as Setsuna reawakens and tells Sara he will come to Heaven (probably Raphy’s house) to find her. END of Book of Gehenna.
Book of Yetzirah, Act I: Rabbit Hunt opens
Shamayim, Yetzirah – Heaven’s Skid Row, where I[mproper]-children live; the results of physical love between two angels, often born albino, thus called Rabbits. If caught, the children are punished and hunted, and the parents are marked Fallen. Raziel is part of a survey team. He gets lost and meets and older I-child Shateiel. He promises to return to later to help improve their living conditions.
Lord Sevy and Zaphikel’s chambers, Yetzirah – Raziel walks in on Sevy’s and Zaphikel’s video conference and requests Sevy send the care packages down to Shamayim...
Shamayim – Raziel had gone back to give Shateiel a charm necklace from when he joined the army. As he’s leaving there is a huge explosion – the care packages (the cake, specifically) was rigged with a bomb. “It’s like the 7th Trumpet sounding the Apocalypse.”
Back in Sevy’s quarters – Raziel points the finger of blame at Sevy for the explosion. Zaphikel begs the council forgive Raziel’s ignorance. When he protests it really was Sevy, Zaphikel slaps him HARD and says it truly was Raziel who killed them because he was aiding the I-Children and everyone knew it. Guards remove Raziel. Sevy tells Zaphikel to not forget to whom his allegiance lies – “You must never forget that scar [on his throat] and what it means. And who it was that saved you. You mustn’t betray me anymore.” Sevy is keeping Jibril hostage. She tells him she did see his face clearly, when she came upon him with his mask off when she first woke up. Zaphikel goes to his own chambers. He “called’ chariot of God.’” Shows Raziel he is Marked as Raziel is resigning his post. Marked “P” for “Peccato”, indicates I am a first-class criminal.” Since Raziel is an empathic he can “show” him the truth of his past as he places Raziel’s hand on the Mark. So we learn Zaphikel’s back story:
He was a rabbit hunter. He hit on Lailah but Anael was jealous. Lailah disappears. Uriel tells Zaphikel the elders know of his relations with Anael, but he doesn’t stop. He is sent on a mission where he is framed – all of his troops die along with the now kidnapped Anael. Zaphikel is arrested and sentenced to death for his carelessness. He is killing himself so he won’t be reborn but is saved by Adam Kadamon. “Search for me, make your wishes come true,” a Voice says. He had tried to slice his throat, hence the scar. Meanwhile all leadership falls to Sevy and he brands Zaphikel with the Mark. The Project Anael and the rebels were working on was Project “Sandalphon.”
Raziel is of course proud of his Lord and responses to this viewing: “What is your order?” He pauses, then says, “I need you to deliver something to the Savior.” He is getting ready to send Raziel but before he leaves he asks, “Are your eyes marine blue?” “Yes…” “May I touch your face?...I see. So this is what your face looks like...”
Jibril’s room – Sara admits she actually didn’t see Sevy’s face “but you’ll never get people who are important to trust you if you cover your face.” Sevy gets angry and storms out. “I’ll never let her out!” A Sister (former grigori) is watching over Sara and brings her a Moonlil plant – “It absorbs the light of the moon and blooms at night.” Since the Sister’s a grigori she has no name. Sara christens her “Moonlil.”
Anagura – Kato has drawn on Setsuna while he slept; Setsuna wakes, notices it, chases after him and tackles him in a hug. “So, you’re all right. Thank God you’re tough.” Uriel is about to leave and gives them a communicator from which they will hear Lord Zaphikel, “he’ll have a present that will aid you greatly. ...does hate Heaven. He lost his eyesight and lover at the hands of the High Council.” Alexiel’s body is back in Angel Crystal. Kurai admits she lost Setsuna’s earring but he still has 2 more – Speak of the Devil – Kira shows up. Kira and Kato are reunited – in their own street punk way of course! The transmitter gives Setsuna a location to be in ½ an hour. Kurai: “How could you read it? It wasn’t even…Enoch[ian]…it was Temurah, basically a code.”
“The Location” – Kurai, Kato, and Setsuna meet Raziel, “by request of Zaphikel of…the rebel organization Anima Mundi.” The portal can only be used twice with one person…Zaphikel wants Setsuna to be the Symbol of the rebellion. Plus Jibril is going on trial for loving her brother and will be executed so he needs to get to Yetzirah anyway. In exchange Zaphikel is leaving Raziel hostage. “If something happens to the Savior, you can slice, dice, rape him as you wish.” Kato brightens: “Oh yeah?” Kurai gives Setsuna the Alexiel charm earring (w/ Nedhig’s scale) for his 3rd hole. Recall Uriel is seeking Lailah. He is sent to the “second level of Yetzirah, the central city of Raqia.”
